Welcome to the EOSC-Pillar Virtual Research Environment for COVID-19!

This working environment is conceived to support the EOSC-Pillar COVID-19 drug discovery use case

The use case focuses on drug discovery for COVID-19. At least two strategies are possible:

Look for already active drugs among those already on the market. A potential example is hydrochloroquine, a molecule known and sold to prevent malaria, but other molecules such as antivirals are also natural candidates, currently under clinical test.
Look for new molecules that are not yet known as active drugs.

Depending on the goal, the drug discovery pipeline is significantly different.
